Florida Kid Style

Mar 16, 2021

We are already enjoying our spring break like no other. So far we have gone shopping, had lunch, slept in, woke up early (me of course!) and just relaxed. Unfortunetly that means my house has not been touched. And that is perfectly fine with me! Because I only get a week of this. I want to soak it all up until it's too late and then I will jump on this house. Maybe.

But today I wanted to share a cute stylish outfit my small nerd picked out. When we went shopping yesterday I told her she could buy two shirts from her favorite store Hollister. That she was good on jeans. Shirts are always a must to have. She picked out some cute tops too! They looked fabulous on her.

When she tried them on and came out of the dressing room, my mouth dropped. Not because it was too short or showed too much. Keep in mind we live in a very hot state and the fashion for tweens lately has changed drastically since I was a tween. Plus we can just blame tiktok and Charli and now Addison Rae. Thanks ya'll for making my little lady grow up so fast! But because she was so adorable. And the whole outfit looked amazing on her, I bought it.

My girl has some serious style. Even the Hollister girls checking us out said so. They said it's pretty awesome a young girl can pull off such a trendy look. Better than them. We all started laughing and she was so excited to hear that. It was defintely a confidence booster in her. And with todays day and age and society... little girls need to hear that. They struggle enough as it is with all the changes they are going through.

**I had her permission to post these photos and post about her. She was totally on board!

    1. Thank you! Hollister had a lot of varieties in that top too. I wanted her to get the mint one but she was dead set on the floral one.

    1. Oh she definitely enjoyed this! I had so many to pick from so it was a hard decision to make LOL!

Enjoy your spring break when it arrives!! It's been super hot here. We're supposed to be getting a front sometime today with lots of storms and about 10 degrees lower. I'm game! Give my AC system a break :)

  8. She is cuteness and style overload, isn't she?! And a total natural on that side of the camera, too! Seriously, she must be such a joy. I love when the kids make it onto the blogs of their parents, too. My little guy wanted to be a "boy fashion blogger" a little while back and was making weekly style posts with me. It was so much fun and then he quit on me! Thanks for sharing your beautiful girl with us!

    1. She is definetely a joy to have around and be around. She's a mixture of her dad and I. She's got the fashion/beauty girly side of me, and the skater kid tomboy side from her dad. It's the best!
