it is summer and it's been a very hot, bright summer at that. for today's post we are going to discuss spf and how you should be wearing spf regardless if it's a cloudy day or a sunny day or if you are sitting inside your house all day. uv rays can still come through your window.

if you feel the need to not wear sunscreen here are the two reasons you don't have to... it's night and you are going to bed or keep all your window blinds and curtains closed.

i recently partnered with brandbacker to bring you this sponsored post about peter thomas roth sunscreen. you can find it at sephora.

☀️ Peter Thomas Roth’s NEW Max Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is an all-mineral sunscreen cream that provides water-resistant, broad spectrum SPF 45 UVA/UVB protection for sensitive skin with Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide.

☀️ Safflower Extract and Vitamins C and E help nourish and comfort, while the universal vanishing tint helps neutralize the look of any redness.

☀️ Light-scattering optics from Diamond powder give skin a natural-looking, radiant finish.

my thoughts: i honestly liked this sunscreen. i like how it’s tinted and matches my tone very well. it blended in easily leaving no streaks or lines at my jawline. there is no scent and it didn’t irritate my skin. the main plus is it didn’t burn my eyes.

  1. I like that this one is tinted! I have not enjoyed mineral based sunscreens in the past though. Always seemed to not spread so easy, and feel kind of greasy. This one seems promising though. I wear sunscreen like it is my make up.

    1. This SPF isn't greasy at all! It actually dries nicely and it made my skin tint cover my blemishes even more. It was like a little boost for coverage. This SPF could be worn as makeup alone! I am definitely buying this when I run out. It's a bit pricey but so worth it.

  2. I like the idea of tinted sunscreen as I am so pale. This would be great for me :)

  3. I rarely think to put on sunscreen; which is odd because I burn so easily. Mostly I try to avoid being out in the sun.
